BMCC Signs MOU with Boyd McCleary CMG CVO
18 Sep 2017
Former British High Commissioner to Malaysia, Boyd McCleary CMG CVO has signed an MOU with us to become the BMCC’s first Representative in the UK. This initiative seeks to bolster the presence of the BMCC in the UK by appointing senior UK officials who have historical ties with the Chamber.
The impetus of this pioneering initiative is to drive greater understanding and recognition of the Chamber towards attracting more UK businesses to Malaysia as well as reinforcing the awareness of Malaysia as an opportune market in attracting greater British exports.
Mr. McCleary’s official title with the BMCC will be “UK Representative of the BMCC.” When the opportunity arises, he will be present at business events related to Malaysia in the UK, and to speak as part of a panel on behalf of the BMCC where possible. Mr. McCleary may also provide referrals of any UK business interests.
