BMCC Signs MoU with The Lost Food Project

Last week, the BMCC and The Lost Food Project (TLFP) signed an MoU in an initiative to strive towards addressing specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This agreement will se us hosting joint activities to promote SDGs including networking or fundraising events, workshops and knowledge exchange seminars. 

TLFP is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that is established to facilitate the wholesale redistribution of surplus foods to a variety of charities across Malaysia (starting in KL). The initiative aims to reduce organic waste that is otherwise thrown away. A strong focus is placed on education and awareness campaigns to highlight these issues with civil society.

The European Times recently caught up with BMCC Chairman, Andrew Sill, to discuss the bilateral relations between the countries, highlighting the investment incentives of Malaysia. With the BMCC focused on providing tailored assistance to new investors in Malaysia, Andrew Sill speaks on the political and economic relations between UK and Malaysia, the specific areas of interest for UK investors here and why Malaysia should be a target for foreign investors.
