It is with great honour and anticipation that I write to you as the newly appointed Executive Director of the BMCC.
Foremostly, I wish to thank Aurelia Silva for granting me this privilege of succeeding her. As I inherit the reigns of the BMCC, it is evident her aspirations and thereof the Executive Office under her stewardship has resonated in a modernisation unique to the Chamber's illustrious history. Upon these foundations and the inherent high standards the Chamber has set for itself, I am driven to explore the unchartered with our cherished members and key stakeholders.
To our Chairman, Mr Andrew Sill and the Board of Directors, I thank you all for the warm welcome. With your collective support and counsel, I am certain our ambitions for the Chamber will be realised.
As a Chartered Accountant by training, I have enjoyed a varied career in professional education and financial industries, including bearing the responsibilities as Head of Malaysia at ACCA for 5 years. Through it all, I have gathered invaluable experience in developing strategic partnerships, corporate branding and relationship managements; all of which I hope to exercise during my tenure here in elevating the BMCC to greater heights.
May this be the beginning successful new era for the BMCC and I look forward to meeting all of you!
