BiSEA UK Roadshow 2017
The BiSEA (Britain in South East Asia) UK Roadshow returns this year as delegates from the Commonwealth Chambers in South East Asia tour the UK to visit businesses of expanding growth with exporting opportunities as well as the British Chamber of Commerces there. The BMCC will be represented by Executive Director, Aurelia Silva who'lll be visiting and conducting 1-2-1 meetings with UK SME's that may be interested to discover the opportunities of exporting their goods and services to Malaysia or the wider ASEAN markets. The BiSEA UK Roadshow begins this week, with the delegation touring the cities of Central London, Suffolk, Bristol, Manchester, Durham, Nottingham and Kidderminster.

"The United Kingdom (UK) press now says that 95% of the first phase of the Battersea Power Station Development in London has been pre-sold to overseas investors from Asia. Clearly, London property continues to be an attractive investment opportunity for overseas purchasers, with a buoyant rental market and an undervalued sterling currency.

Jon Golding, a UK qualified tax mitigation expert and author of numerous tax planning books, says “...those investing in UK property must appreciate there are price tags attached to a purchase including stamp duty, inheritance tax and income tax on the rents. It is important to understand what these are before committing a large investment of this sort.”
