Cyber Security Innovation Centre Planned for London
The government has launched an invitation to tender in a competition to develop and design a £14.5m innovation centre to foster next generation cyber security technology. “The new centre will build on London's thriving digital start-up scene with one tech company estimated to be formed every hour in the capital. The city is also home to the headquarters of the newly created National Cyber Security Centre - a part of GCHQ - which opened earlier this year," said Minister for Digital Matt Hancock.

Amazon opens London headquarters in major UK expansion
Amazon plans to expand the size of its R&D team in London to support the growth of its Prime Video service. Matt Hancock, Minister for Digital, said, " [This is a] vote of confidence in the UK as a world-leading centre of creativity and innovation."
