Najib and Theresa May Reaffirm Strong UK-Malaysia Ties
 
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his British counterpart Theresa May have reaffirmed the strong ties between Malaysia and the United Kingdom, which pre-dated and have continued since Malaysia's independence 60 years ago.

Najib said "I assured Prime Minister May that Malaysia will be happy to discuss setting up a trade arrangement between our two countries as soon as possible. We know that trade between our countries will benefit our economies and our peoples," he added.

BMCC Signs MOU with Boyd McCleary CMG CVO
 
Former British High Commissioner to Malaysia, Boyd McCleary CMG CVO has signed on to become the BMCC's first Representative in the UK. This initiative seeks to bolster the presence of the BMCC in the UK by appointing senior UK officials who have historical ties with the Chamber.

Garden International School teams win F1 in School Challenge

Garden International school (GIS) teams claimed the top three winning places in this year’s F1 in Schools Challenge held at GIS today. GIS’s team Flash and Apeiros won 2nd and 3rd place respectively, while designers of the fastest car, team Lucendi won 1st place with a race time of 1.182 seconds, setting a new F1 in Schools (SEAIS) record and qualifying them to compete abroad in the World Finals next year.

Good Things Come in Threes

How the Malaysian Export Academy plans to ease shortage of export expertise
 
Bernama has recently reported that the Malaysian Export Academy (formerly known as The Exporters’ Club) hopes to alleviate the shortage of export expertise in the country by training the people, especially fresh graduates.
