BMCC - AMCHAM Speed Networking
Last week, the BMCC joined forces with the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) to host an inter-chamber speed networking event held at Tujo Bar-serrie & Grill, Ascott Kuala Lumpur. Returning as moderator and timekeeper as he's done in years past, Andrew Diamond tweeted; "When people run out of business cards you know it was a success!" Nothing could be nearer to the truth as the function garnered overwhelmingly positive responses from all 30 participants in attendance representing both our Chambers. The BMCC thanks AMCHAM Malaysia for its support and collaboration in making this event a triumph!

Update: BMCC UK Representative
Writing back to us from the United Kingdom, former British High Commissioner to Malaysia, Boyd McCleary CMG CVO, who recently signed on to become the BMCC's UK Representative was among the honoured guests at the Malaysia-UK Diamond Jubilee Forum held on the 14th September in London. He also reports that education is still very much at the heart of our strong relations, and that UK companies must realise the opportunities Brexit offers with trade missions and market visitations being a key facilitator. At the forum, Mr. McCleary announced to new and old acquaintances of his appointment as the BMCC's UK Representative and seized the opportunity to share the BMCC's services as a facilitator for British companies looking to enter the Malaysian market.
