A Year In Review: Visit Our 2017 Photo Gallery
- A Message From The BMCC Executive Director -

To our cherished members
We hope you're enjoying a safe and well deserved break. The traditions of Christmas leading up to the new year serves as a timely hiatus to reflect on what has been nothing short of a successful and illustrious 2017 for the Chamber. At the heart of all this lies a profound recognition to all of you, our members. And of course, the resolute support of our Sponsors and Sterling Members with whom we have accomplished so much together. May we continue strengthening the ties we have built.

At a glance, we organised over 30 events this past year and partnered with the British High Commission of Kuala Lumpur along with affiliated Chambers to co-host several more. Some of our highlights include VIP receptions for visiting ministers with the likes of Richard Graham MP, The Rt Hon Greg Hands MP, The Rt Hon Liam Fox MP and Mark Garnier MP.

We've also reached new milestones in launching several formations, namely our Business Centre, the BMCC Johor and significantly our two sector committees in Energy and Education. Another momentous establishment was the Government Advocacy Working Group installed to relay the business needs of our members to the government. Also with thanks to your strong support, we held two gala events to great reception; our recent Annual Corporate Christmas Luncheon and the 13th Annual Charity Rugby Dinner which raised RM75,000 in charity for the National Cancer Society of Malaysia.

Building on the industry specific and thought leadership talks we've had this past year, we will endeavour to further refine the focus of our subject matters with notable speakers and business leaders, thus enhancing your participation value. Rest assured it will not be all work and no fun however, as we seek to strike a balance between corporate and social gatherings.

Come January, we'll be looking to hit the ground running as the BMCC Energy Committee organises a special keynote address on understanding decommissioning. We'll also be throwing a New Year Drink get-together to welcome back all of you, so we look forward to seeing you there.

Once again, thank you for all your support. Happy holidays and we'll see you in 2018!
