The keynote and networking forum on Understanding The Journey To Decommissioningdrew 145 attendees across the Oil & Gas sector, turning up to hear from global experts speak on Malaysia's roadmap to cost effective solutions on the arduous and expensive process of decommissioning, The keynote speeches were delivered by H.E. Vicki Treadell CMG, MVO (British High Commissioner to Malaysia) and Muhammad Zamri Jusoh (VP of Malaysia Petroleum Management, PETRONAS) with the latter announcing that decommissioning is and will continue to be a key focus in Malaysia, and that PETRONAS has a 10 year plan in store for upcoming projects. Petrofac Leadership Training
The BMCC organised its 2nd edition of the Petrofac Leadership Training Programme last week. Building on 2017's first session with BMCC's very own Chairman Andrew Sill, this 2nd programme featured international speaker and author Dr. Indigo Triplett. Having grown her home-based training practice into a thriving multimillion dollar performance management consulting firm, she has since launched 4D Performance in Malaysia mirroring her US company. Among the many topics touched on were the initiatives leaders, managers & staff should learn to inculcate towards fostering an efficient and balance office ecosystem. BMCC Johor Officially Launched
Following the MOU signing between BMCC and the Henley Business School (HBS), University of Reading last year towards establishing "BMCC Johor", last Friday marked the official launching of the centre. Aubai Eliwy (BMCC Head of Business Development) was on site over the weekend to conduct the induction and training process for the 8 students / staffs who will be managing the facility. Their primary objective will be to extend BMCC’s presence outside Kuala Lumpur, doing so by means of driving membership and increasing the proposition of services for our members in Johor Bahru. Last September, EUMCCI, through the Healthcare Committee, sent a feedback letter to the Department of Standards Malaysia to voice out our position regarding the proposed development of a Malaysian Standard on Halal Medical Devices and its requirements.
