The Who, What and How of Mediation: Negotiated Settlements for COVID19 Disputes

Arising from COVID-19, there has been multitude of disputes in all sectors resulting from supply chain disruptions to lockdown financial woes. Mediation may be that in-between option that may be the way to unlock the door to achieving negotiated settlements.

Topic of discussions will include:

  • What is mediation and the practicalities of deploying it effectively to resolve disputes?
  • What takes place at mediation?
  • Isn’t arbitration and adjudication supposed to be quick and cheap? And court being a public service?
  • Who can you turn to when you need help?
