IGEM 2016 – THE PLACE TO BE THIS OCTOBER
Mark your calendar from 5th – 8th October 2016 as the 7th International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference (IGEM) makes a return this year at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
As the region’s largest green technology business and innovation platform to promote the growth of green technology, IGEM 2016 will showcase products & services from local and international players from all sectors of the Green Industry. Expecting over 350 exhibitors from over 30 countries and targets business leads of RM2 billion, IGEM 2016 is the place to be for network expansion, business leads and high possibility of securing new clientele.

One of the new features to IGEM 2016 is the Solar PV Conference. The two day conference 5th – 6th October 2016, jointly organised by the Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA) and Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA), will be officiated by the Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) .
The conference is expected to gather 350 delegates from across the green technology globe from Germany, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, India, Australia and ASEAN countries to discuss five key areas namely:
1. Institutional Policy Framework
2. Trend and Performances of Photovoltaic System
3. Training, Competency and Standards
4. Business, Finance and Insurance
5. Investment Opportunities in Photovoltaic–related Manufacturing Industries in Malaysia
Since its commencement in 2010, IGEM has generated an estimated RM8.8 billion in business leads, with 2015 recording the highest at RM1.98 billion. Overall, IGEM has attracted over 300,000 visitors from over 50 countries including delegates, VIPs and major players from China, Germany, Japan, Norway, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and the United States of America.
